Blanche Stuart Scott American Aviator is born

Blanche Stuart Scott, also known as Betty Scott  on October 23, 1910 became the first woman to fly at a public event in the U.S. at Fort Wayne, Indiana. She became the first woman to drive across the United States and the first woman to fly in America.
